I had a delightful stay, largely thanks to the hotel's fantastic location near Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. The room view of the Golden Horn was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially Emir and Kadir, who made my experience memorable. The breakfast was decent, but I feel it could benefit from a bit more variety.

Staying at Grand Hotel De Pera was a feast for my taste buds, especially with nearby gems like Cok Cok Thai for those spicy cravings and Meze By Lemon Tree serving mouthwatering mezes. Plus, the location is killer, just a stone's throw from Istiklal Street. And the rooftop breakfast? A crowd-pleaser with its lovely spread!

The sounds from the vibrant lane echoed through our second-floor apartment, a cheeky reminder of Istanbul's nightlife. Though a bit loud, it added charm to our experience.

Consider asking for a room away from the elevator to avoid noise disruptions during the night.
